Build a clean customer book
Add customers, migrate a spreadsheet and prevent duplicate accounts.
Before you import
Start with one customer list. Keep a copy of the original spreadsheet and remove rows that are not customers. DeniFlow customer imports do not create historical invoices, opening balances or receipts.
- Download the blank CSV template from Customers → Import CSV.
- Use one row per customer. Keep names consistent and put phone numbers in text columns to preserve the leading zero or country code.
- Fill in the supported contact, payment-term and credit-limit fields. Do not add payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents.
- Preview up to 200 rows at a time. Fix every reported validation error before submitting.
- Check a few imported customers against your source file before starting the next batch.
Avoid duplicate records
An import is not an automatic merge. Identical rows in the same batch are rejected, but repeating a completed import may create another customer record. Search the existing book first. If a request times out, refresh and check the result before starting a new import.
Assign the right portfolio
Use the organization’s access controls to assign the customer to an appropriate collector, team or branch. Customer assignment and a user’s permission grant are separate: check both if a collector cannot see the account.
Archive carefully
Archiving preserves the customer’s history and still counts toward the plan limit. It is not a way to erase issued financial records or free plan capacity. Resolve incorrect financial entries through the correction workflow.
