Enable SMS, WhatsApp and email reminders
Understand provider activation, customer consent and unavailable controls.

Read delivery readiness
Open Reminders in the KES ledger. The MobileSasa panels show provider credentials, delivery callback, SMS sender and configured cost, approved WhatsApp template verification, and platform activation. A configured sender is not proof that the provider approved it or delivered a message. If delivery is off or the WhatsApp template is unavailable, request activation help through support. Runtime secrets belong to platform staff, not the customer workspace.
Save the schedule before switching on
Set the days overdue and save a paused schedule while provider setup is incomplete. This does not send messages. When the channel is ready, an authorized manager can choose Enable automation. A read-only or expired workspace cannot change rules. SMS and official WhatsApp automation currently use eligible KES invoices; USD uses reviewed drafts or email instead.
Get permission from the customer
Open the customer account and record consent separately for SMS and WhatsApp, including the country calling code and how permission was obtained. Changing the customer phone requires new consent. An enabled channel, eligible overdue undisputed debt, active subscription, frequency limits and sending hours also govern queueing. A disabled Queue reminder button explains which prerequisite is missing. Never record consent the customer did not give.
Read the outcome correctly
Queued means waiting for dispatch. Provider accepted means the provider accepted the request. Delivered is only recorded from supported provider evidence; it does not mean the customer read or paid. Uncertain results require review rather than repeated sends. Messages are subject to platform cost caps and provider funding. Quotes and displayed rates do not confirm a funded balance.
Email and manually reviewed messages
Email uses the separately configured Resend sender. Review company contacts and payment instructions in Organization settings, then prepare a customer reminder. Provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox arrival. Reviewed WhatsApp or SMS drafts are sent manually through your own messaging application and remain distinct from MobileSasa delivery.
