Issue a credit invoice
Create a receivable with a clear due date and review it before issuing.
Before you begin
Confirm the customer, agreed credit terms and source sale. DeniFlow records receivables in KES. An invoice is not proof of delivery, tax compliance or payment.
- Open Invoices and choose the creation action. Select the correct customer.
- Enter the issue date and due date. Add each line’s description, quantity and unit price, then any applicable discount or tax.
- Review the customer, currency and calculated total against the original sale before issuing.
- Issue the invoice, then check its outstanding amount and due date in the customer history.
What changes the balance
Issuing adds an amount owed. A posted payment does not reduce a particular invoice until it is allocated. Partial allocations leave the remainder outstanding. Overdue status depends on the due date and the remaining balance.
Fix an issued mistake
Do not create a second invoice to hide an error. Use the authorized void or credit-note action with a clear reason. Where allocations or reconciliation prevent a correction, review the related receipt first. Audit history preserves the original event and its correction.
Tax and delivery documents
Keep the source order, delivery note and applicable tax document in your own records. DeniFlow does not submit eTIMS invoices or provide an inventory ledger. Use the required tax system separately.
